notes, newspaper clippings, photographs, etc., ca. 1950-1968, 2 cu. ft., pertaining
to Harder's writings, especially to Daniel Drawbaugh, The Edison of the Cumberland
Valley; 2) prints and negatives, ca. 1941-1963, 7 cu. ft., showing personalities,
community activities, bridges and streams, industrial and commercial facilities,
parks and cemeteries, public and private buildings, railroads, streets and roads,
etc., of Harrisburg and the Harrisburg area; 3) photographic copies of portraits
of U. S. presidents, governors of Pennsylvania, Civil War generals, etc., ca.
1941-1963, .5 cu. ft.; and 4) photographic copies, ca. 1941-1963, 5 cu. ft., of
early prints and related materials pertaining to a wide variety of inventions
(bicycles, electrical equipment, firearms, fire engines, fire escapes, flying
machines, life preservers, phonographs, photographic equipment, printing machines,
railroad equipment, sewing machines, stoves, telegraph and telephone equipment,
etc.).
