Correspondence and general files of Charles V. Henry, born on May 23, 1865 in
Annville, Lebanon County. He served as secretary to local ironmaster Robert H.
Coleman during the 1890s, and also as Lebanon County district attorney from 1901-1904.
Governor Edwin Stuart appointed him president of the Court of Common Pleas of
Lebanon County in June 1910, and he served as a Lebanon County judge from 1911-1942.
A delegate to the Republican National Convention in 1928, Henry was appointed
Standing Master on the Board of Governance of the Pennsylvania Bar, January 21,
1942, retiring from the Board in 1947. He was president of the Lebanon National
Bank from 1933-1953. Correspondents include Benjamin C. Atlee, Walter B. Gibbons,
Edward Martin, George W. Maxey, and Paul A. W. Wallace.
