The collection consists of printed annual reports of four Pennsylvania institutions
that offered educational and employment opportunities to the blind, namely the
Pennsylvania Home Teaching Society and Free Circulating Library for the Blind,
Pennsylvania Institution for Instruction of the Blind, the Pennsylvania Working
Home for Blind Men, and the Western Pennsylvania Institution for the Blind.
