Phadrig "Pat" Cahill of Camp Hill was a photographer for United Press International's central Pennsylvania Region, 1954-1975. His prints were sent by UPI telephoto to appropriate newspapers throughout the state and country, dramatizing the news events of the area.

The collection includes over 6,000 7x9" and 8x10" prints, each bearing UPI's code, date, and an extended typewritten caption. The reverse often provides additional information. The prints are arranged by year and thereafter by subject. The original negatives are retained by UPI. Use of these prints is subject to the U.S. Copyright Law.
