The Pennsylvania Association of Prothonotaries and Clerks of Courts has been
in existence since 1928 when then President Wilson Wert of Lehigh County hosted
the first conference in Allentown. The association's purpose is to engage elected
and appointed Prothonotaries and Clerks of Courts statewide in communicating
and preserving the purposes of these offices. These records consist of executive
committee minutes, by laws, a list of past presidents, survey forms relating
to state funding of the local courts system, minutes of the joint advisory committees,
journals, brochures and annual meeting programs.
As of October 2009, this collection remains unprocessed.
