RECORDS OF THE GOVERNOR'S JUDICIAL REFORM COMMISSION

The Governor's Judicial Reform Commission was created by Executive Order 1987-14,
issued by Governor Robert P. Casey. Superior Court Judge Phyllis Beck who chaired
the Commission sent these records to the non-profit group Pennsylvanians for
Modern Courts. The records contain Judge Beck's notes, reference materials,
public hearing transcripts, correspondence, and copies of final reports. Also
present are reference materials on judicial reform created after the report
was completed in 1988.
The collection remains unprocessed as of October 2009.
