The Pennsylvania Economy League was founded in 1936 by business and civic leaders to improve the quality of government and promote economic development in the Commonwealth. The Economy League currently maintains three Division offices (Eastern, Central and Western) with a State Office in Harrisburg (see www.pel.org for county representation per Division). These records from the Central Division Library consist of reports, memoranda, directives, tax rates, and property evaluations. A majority of the collection is arranged in a yearly format, either in binders or Gaylord boxes.
