Meeting minutes of the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement Board (PMRB). Information provided about each meeting includes date, place, and time; names of members present; reports on financial statements; details of the proceedings; and signature of recording officer. Topics covered include: proposed policies and changes to rules and regulations; approval of membership lists, superannuation retirements, disability retirements, and payments to beneficiaries of deceased members; financial statements and committee reports; confirmation of purchase and redemption of securities for the PMR fund; and medical certifications in disability retirement cases. For 1984-1989, minutes are in the form of notes, which include names of participants, staff and others in attendance, agenda items, discussion, and actions taken. Also includes constitutional oaths of office (1950-1951, 1987). Briefing packets used by board members in preparation for meetings are located in Board Packets, 1988-2001 {series #83.2}.
