Consisting of original architect’s drawings for the state Capitol building completed in Harrisburg in 1906, these files also include competition drawings, photographic prints, blueprints, and newspaper clippings.

Newspaper Clipping Scrapbook, 1901-1905. Contains an article from the Philadelphia Press, December 4, 1904, p. 3, entitled "Splendid Park as a Fitting Setting to Our New State Capitol." The article is accompanied by pictures of the shacks and shanties lining the narrow alleys of an African American neighborhood and also mentions the South Street Colored Church.
