A miscellaneous collection, chiefly typed excerpts and transcripts from newspapers and letters, pertaining to events of the colonial and Revolutionary War period, including items on the development of furnaces and forges, witchcraft in Berks County, the legend of Barbara Fritchie, and Colonel Henry Bouquet's expedition. Included are original drawings by Schultz and his accounts on "The Type and Range of Field Artillery in the Revolutionary War," "Antique Iron Works and Machines of the Water Power Age," etc.
