The Pennsylvania Federation of Music Clubs, Inc., was formed from seven Pennsylvania City Clubs of the National Federation of Music Clubs in 1915. The Pennsylvania Federation promotes American and Pennsylvania music, composers and performers.

Contains administrative records consisting of minutes, 1916-1971; historical records, 1940-1956; and the president's and financial reports, 1952-1955 (not inclusive); convention programs; publications including "Music and Musicians of Pennsylvania," two volumes, "Pennsylvania Papers," and "Useful Information about Pennsylvania Music." Also included are files on Pennsylvania composers such as David Amram, Peter Memmin, Margaret Garwood, Daniel Perlongs and Conrad Susa; scrapbooks, 1923-1963 containing programs, bulletins and newsclippings; sheet music; summaries of Board meetings; membership lists; and 33 1/3 disc recordings; two items of the National Federation of Music Clubs young artist audition winners, 1933; and "Texas" by David Guion.
