Kurt Zwikl (b. 1949) was elected to the House of Representatives from Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, in a 1973 special election, and served as a State Representative from that year until 1984. He was eventually selected to be the House Democrat on the board of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, and had special interest in the Old Fairground and Liberty Bell Shrine, and Easton House, Northampton. Zwikl was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Lehigh County Historical Society and the Allentown Liberty Bell Shrine.

The collection contains constituent files, correspondence, miscellaneous files, PHMC papers, and a subject file, which includes materials on issues such as crime education, state colleges and universities, health, and taxation. Notable items pertain to Zwikl's involvement and advocacy at the state and district levels in historical preservation.
