Organized in 1974 and incorporated in 1979, the Capitol Area Music Association (CAMA) is a non-profit inter-denominational choral organization. Its membership includes persons living in Harrisburg, Steelton, York, Lancaster and Carlisle who have a church affiliation and an interest in music. There are members representing twenty-eight African-American churches. The records include legal papers, correspondence, minutes, reports, bills, receipts, cancelled checks, newsletters, newspaper clippings, concert booklets, photographs, audio cassettes of concerts, and other memorabilia.

As of October 2009, this collection remains unprocessed.
