Correspondence and related items of or pertaining to David Findley, son of Congressman William Findley of Unity Township, Westmoreland County. In 1806 David Findley was commissioned a captain in the Regiment of Riflemen in U.S.service. He died in cantonment at Fort Adams, near Natchez, Mississippi, July 1, 1809.

Correspondence includes a letter from John Bowyer to William Findley, 1809; 2 letters from James Read to William Findley, 1809-10; and a letter from John Whiting to William Findley, 1809.
