Grouped by subject, and thereunder arranged numerically by photograph number.
This series forms the bulk of the collection. It documents John W. Roshon's
work as a photographer in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Data found on labeled photographs
includes date, location and occasionally the names of individuals in the pictures.
Most of photographs are portraits of unidentified people. The labeled photographs
include portraits of John's daughter Dorinda Roshon, his wife Mary E. Roshon,
and her parents John and Dorinda Feehrer.

Included in this folder are newspaper articles on John W. Roshon and other
photographers, relating to the selling of nude photographs at the turn of the
century. Also found is the eighth annual convention booklet of the Photographer's
Association of Pennsylvania, 1904, which contains the program's schedule, and
information on exhibits, Roshon's works, and the art of photography.
