The entries in this volume are grouped alphabetically by first name of Patentee's
surname. All the "A"s are together, then the "B"s, then the
"C"s, etc. Within each letter category, entries are then grouped by
Patent Book volume number, and thereunder arranged chronologically by date of
patent. So be sure to browse through the entire letter section if you are unsure
of the exact patent date for the patentee in question.
