Miscellaneous records of the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority
(PENNVEST), including a board member list; a copy of the creating Act; a
report on financing clean water infrastructure; and a copy of Chapter 963 of
The Pennsylvania Bulletin. Act 1988-16 provides a synopsis of PENNVEST's
duties, powers, and responsibilities, including an explanation of the legislative
intent; information on financial appropriations, revenue, and audits; and other
regulations. "Financing Clean Water Infrastructure for Pennsylvania",
a report used to inform voters on a $300 million dollar bond referendum, outlines
infrastructure needs and possible solutions, as well as providing basic information
on PENNVEST. Chapter 963 details the financial assistance regulations
of the Authority.

Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST). Topics include approved
clean water projects organized by county, and provide information on the proposed
project, amount of funding awarded, and justification for the project. Each release
includes the date and a detailed summary.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is chaired by
the Governor and includes the Secretary of Environmental Protection, Secretary
for Budget, Secretary of Community and Economic Development, Secretary of General
Services, two Senators, two members of the House, and four private citizens. One
senatorial member is appointed by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate and
one by the Minority Leader. One House member is appointed by the Speaker of the
House and one by the Minority Leader. The four private members are appointed by
the Governor. Of these, one must be a registered engineer, one a representative
of the water supply and sewage treatment industries, one a representative of a
local government association, and one an at-large member.

documents used to prepare for each board meeting. Also contains related
files, including board counsel opinions, tax information, interdepartmental coordination
files (Department of Environmental Resources, Department of Environmental Protection,
Budget Office, Auditor General, Comptroller), board issuance resolutions, allocation
methodology, interest rate corrections, and financial advisor projects and advice.
