A shopping center is a planned commercial strip, with a parking lot in front. There may be direct access from the surrounding subdivision into the shopping center.

  • Parking lot in front
  • Most often an one story linear building
  • Exterior entranceways for each store
  • Glass front exteriors
  • Not an enclosed mall
  • Sidewalk connects buildings
