MG-334. LOWENGARD FAMILY PAPERS, 1905-1930.
Harry and Leon Lowengard were printers and owners of The Courier, a weekly Harrisburg newspaper. The collection includes business accounts and related items, as well as a few private materials. One African American appears in an Advertisement Broadside depicting the newspaper’s employees. Among the Boy Scout Material and Pictures, [ca. 1918] are two photographs of Black women at a campsite.
