Loose returns for negro and mulatto slaves in Cumberland County. Information includes slave owner’s name, township, occupation, and the name and age of the slave. The individual returns are preceded by a typed listing of the returns prepared by the count, giving the names of slave owner and slave/indenturer, and the slave’s date of birth. A listing of the slave returns, organized by registry number and date, is included.
