Cape Cod

The Cape Cod Cottage Style house has much in common with the Minimal Traditional style house. Both are small and boxy and reflect a traditional house form. The Cape Cod Cottage style is most easily identified by its steeply pitched roof often with dormer windows, and its one and one half story height. Historically associated with the New England states, the Cape Cod Cottage was a popular vernacular house form seen across the United States, popular with home builders.
